Virginia Craft Beer Run Supports Breweries

Join a virtual run, socially distance, and support Virginia breweries all at one time.

The Virginia Craft Beer Run includes a 5k or 10k option and you can run anytime in the month of May. The event is hosted by the Virginia Craft Brewers Guild and will support Virginia’s craft beer industry.

There will be two registrations – one for a 5k and another for a 10k – that will open on April 24 and run through the end of May. There will also be a virtual tip jar for folks to show additional support. Early registrants will receive swag and folks will be able to enter a raffle up to three times for a prize given out at the conclusion of the race.

In addition, the overall winner of the 5 and 10k will win a 6-pack of their favorite craft beer. Runners can join a Facebook community that will allow folks to interact, post their times, and will feature a daily leaderboard.

  • Every runner will receive free social media assets – “Virtual Swag” – to show their participation.
  • Everyone who completes the race will receive custom social media assets with the date they finished and their running time.
  • The top three times each day will receive a virtual gold, silver, or bronze medal.
