Tweed, Bikes, and Beer
Calling all dapper dressers! The annual Tweed Ride is coming up on Saturday, Nov. 10 in Salem.
The Tweed Ride is a genteel bike tour meandering throughout Downtown Salem and on the Roanoke River Greenway, exploring some of Salem’s hidden historical treasures. Along the way, will be stops at several locations of significance where volunteers from the Roanoke Valley Preservation Foundation will regale riders with stories of the past.
Dress in your finest garb, bring your bike and join this one-of-a-kind ride in the region.
Registration is from 10:30 to 11 a.m. at Salem Museum. The ride leaves at 11 and ends at Olde Salem Brewing Company for social time and fellowship.
Don’t want to let this fine day go unremembered; participants can have their photos taken courtesy of Bella Muse Photography at the start of the ride and receive a printed copy at the end.
