Thanks, Deschutes, for Supporting Go Cross

In support of Go Cross this weekend, Deschutes Brewery is donating $1 from every six-pack sold Thursday, Nov. 12, through Sunday, Nov. 15 to Project Outside. Only six-packs purchased at the Deschutes Tasting Room in Downtown Roanoke (315 Market St. SE) count toward this promotion.

Plus, $1 from every pint sold on Saturday will be donated.

Go Cross is Nov. 14-15 at Fallon Park in Roanoke. While the event is different this year, it remains a small, well-organized USA Cycling regional that will allow athletes of all abilities to participate in a low-risk setting. Good luck to everyone who registered and is riding this weekend.

Project Outside, which is administered by the Roanoke Outside Foundation, is a community fund created by businesses, governments, and individuals to support outdoor capital improvement projects, maintain key outdoor assets, and help launch and support businesses in the outdoor sector. (We also put on the Go Cross cyclocross race.)

After the race, cyclists can show their bib at Deschutes. Everyone who brings a race bib to the tasting room will get a free raffle ticket to win a Deschutes branded 20 qt Hard Sided Patriot Cooler. Anyone else can purchase raffle tickets for $1/each.

Winners will be announced next week and can either pick up from the tasting room or it will be shipped for those that live out of town.
