Tackle the Roanoke 100 Miler Challenge

Earn miles walking, running, biking, or even in fitness or yoga classes starting in January as part of the Roanoke 100 Miler.

Can you log 100 miles between January and April?

The Roanoke 100 Miler is a Roanoke Parks and Recreation program that helps you get in shape and stick to those New Year’s resolutions. Throughout the challenge, you will receive weekly encouraging emails with wellness tips, be invited to join a private Facebook page to share your experience with other 100 Milers, join walks every other Saturday, and group adventures like roller skating and rock climbing.

And here’s the best part. All this mileage can add up to great prizes from a variety of sponsors, including Salomon and Fleet Feet Sports.

But you have to register to be eligible for prizes and for free admission to group outings.

  • Jan. 13, 2 p.m.  – 100 Miler Kick-Off
  • April 21, 2 p.m. – Grand Finale
