Roanoke Valley Gives Day is for Trails

Can you spare a couple bucks for the trails?

The Roanoke Outside Foundation is participating in Roanoke Valley Gives on March 13 – make sure to send a little love to all of your favorite nonprofits in the region. This year we are putting your funds back into trails.

DONATE NOW (schedule your donation for March 13)

roanoke valley givesEvery dollar we raise today will go toward trail projects in the region, from fixing trails damaged by use during wet conditions to the Morningside Bike Park trails project. (You can even specify where you want funds to go in the donation form.)

All we ask is that you take a minute to donate what you can to help us make your Roanoke Outside even better. There’s no amount too small; everything helps even just $10 or $20. (Think of what we could do if everyone in the region gave $10!)

The Roanoke Outside Foundation was formed as a 501(c)3 charitable organization with the mission to make outdoor activity and environmental stewardship a core component of the region’s lifestyle. Since 2013, Roanoke Outside has been working tirelessly (trust me when I say this) to make where we call home THE place people and businesses want to be. One of our goals is to improve access to the outdoors for all. We’ve developed an outdoor mentor program with Big Brothers Big Sisters and have been busy crowdfunding outdoor infrastructure projects like the dock at Carvins Cove, the new bike park at Morningside Park, and river access projects throughout the region.

Thank you!
