Join in on the shenanigans for the 2017 Mustache Ride on Saturday, Nov. 4 from 2 to 7 p.m. and help keep the Roanoke GO Outside Festival free.
Events like this do more than keep the region’s huge outdoor festival free. The Roanoke Mustache Ride actually helps grow the event and is a way to thank volunteers for their service. Proceeds from the ride contribute to bigger and better music acts, more pro athletes, more free activities for you to try, and all the other things that make GO Fest wonderful.
(Plus, you’ll get to ride with the creative minds behind GO Fest and our friends at Ride Solutions.)
If you don’t know about the event, here’s how a Mustache Ride works: Riders dress up in crazy costumes, cruise around in a pack on bikes, and make an appropriately big scene while visiting some of the city’s best restaurants/breweries. Included in the $5 fee is one free beverage of your choice, mustaches and swag, tour guides on this crazy adventure, and happy hour specials at all participating bars and restaurants. (Note that all GO Fest volunteers ride free.)
So let’s contribute to a good cause while riding around Roanoke. Let’s celebrate our awesome mountain town and keep fun events like this an annual tradition!
