Pete’s Pick: Gear Up for a New Bike Skills Park

You can help shape the design of a new bike skills park at Explore Park.

Roanoke County is holding two meetings where you can provide input to establish a new mountain bike skills park.

The goal of these meetings is to create a starting place for individuals and families seeking adventure and enrichment in the outdoors. Plans for the bike area include an emphasis on beginner and intermediate level skills development.

Roanoke County is looking for your input to help make this project something the community can be proud of. You don’t have to have biking experience to attend or provide feedback.

Construction on the skills park is expected to begin this summer, and is slated for completion by the end of 2018.
