Ironman Needs You

Carilion Clinic announced their title sponsorship of the IRONMAN 70.3 Virginia’s Blue Ridge in July 2019. The COVID-19 pandemic caused the world-recognized triathlon to be postponed in June 2020 and rescheduled for the weekend of Friday, June 4 through Sunday, June 6, 2021. Their title sponsorship remains, and more than 2,600 triathletes will soon visit Virginia’s Blue Ridge.

Helping to host the event means we, as a community, need to line up volunteers to welcome competitors and ensure they have a memorable experience. Sarah Klemencic, M.D., returns as volunteer director and is excited to help you become a part of the event.
