Hydro Flask has been a longstanding supporter of Roanoke Outside and GO Fest, so when they asked us if we’d help get the word out about some of their new products we jumped at the opportunity. Hydro Flask is known for keeping your liquids cold but sometimes the cost of having a cold beverage came with added weight that you might not want on a backpacking trip where every ounce counts. Trail Series bottles are engineered to deliver cold refreshment without the weight.
The 24 oz wide mouth Trail Series bottle weighs just 10 ounces and the 32 oz bottle weighs only 11.8 ounces, 25 percent less than their regular counterparts. We don’t really know what the TempShield™ insulation is but we know it eliminates condensation and keeps your liquids cold for up to 24 hours and hot for up to 12 hours. Trail Series bottles are compatible with other Hydro Flask lids so you can still use a straw or flip lid if you prefer.
Bottom line: Hydro Flask continues to be our go-to hydration partner for good reason – they know what they’re doing.
