How to Get to Go Fest [Infographic]

You might have heard that the Anthem GO Outside Festival has a new location at River’s Edge South this year. But don’t worry, there will be just a much to see, demo, and do all weekend.

GO Fest is Oct. 18-20 (gates open at 6 p.m. Friday) and we can pretty much guarantee a good time once you get to the festival site. The free festival will include more than 150 vendors, 100-plus activities, and plenty of food trucks with delicious noms plus beer, wine, and cider sales.

As far as getting to GO Fest, the location change doesn’t mean a whole lot. You can still park in the Carilion Parking Garage off Reserve Avenue. Then just walk across the grass field “walkway” and over the pedestrian bridge to the main festival entrance. (Note this parking garage is not open to GO Fest traffic until 6 p.m. Friday. You don’t need to arrive early, there’s plenty of festival for everyone.)

We’ll also have a couple of pedicab drivers — thanks to Freedom First Credit Union — pedaling back and forth from parking to the main entrance. Flag them down if you want a ride!

We also encourage other methods of transportation this weekend. (It is an outdoor festival after all.) Park once and camp all weekend, carpool or grab and Uber of Lyft, or bike to the festival.
