If you haven’t already, now is the time to start thinking about the Foot Levelers Blue Ridge Marathon on April 13.

Training for America’s Toughest Road Marathon starts with the new year. And this year training programs at Fleet Feet will benefit the Roanoke Outside Foundation, which is the parent 501(c)3 organization behind the marathon and Roanoke GO Outside Festival.

Here’s how it works: Sign up for one of the training programs and 50 percent of the registration fees will be automatically donated.

Blue Ridge Marathon training options:

  • 10K: Training starts Jan. 21 (orientation is Jan. 13) and includes 12 weeks of workouts
  • Half marathon: Training starts Jan. 21 (orientation is Jan. 13) and includes 12 weeks of workouts
  • Full marathon: Training starts Jan. 7 (orientation is Jan. 3) and includes 14 weeks of workouts

Register now for a Blue Ridge race to keep you motivated and training all winter long. With plenty of options from a double marathon to family 1-miler, there’s no better time to choose your challenge and tackle America’s Toughest Road Races.
