Spring Training for Cyclists

Many cyclists are training for a number of different spring/summer rides and races. In order to prepare you for these rides we are coordinating group rides each Saturday that will progress throughout the month of March and then into April. We will have one ride option with different groups:
11-13mph no drop
Each ride will incorporate a climb to support the rides/races with elevation that we will be training for such as: Storming of Thunder Ridge, or Ironman 70.3 Virginia’s Blue Ridge.

These rides are meant as a guideline to help you progress towards longer rides with more elevation. If your personal training program requires longer rides or more elevation, etc. feel free to add on to these rides. Getting comfortable on the road and riding in new areas is easier to do in a group.
If you have never joined us before, please arrive at least 15-20 minutes early to sign a waiver and get a little bit of a run down.
