2018 Tweed Ride

Calling all ladies and gentleman! Join us for the annual Tweed Ride, a genteel bike tour meandering throughout Downtown Salem and on the Roanoke River Greenway, exploring some of Salem’s hidden historical treasures. Along the way we’ll stop at several locations of significance where volunteers from the Roanoke Valley Preservation Foundation will regale us with stories of the past.
Registration is from 10:30 to 11:00 at the Salem Museum, We’ll leave at 11, and end the ride at Olde Salem Brewing Company for social time and fellowship.
We don’t want to let this fine day in your finery go unremembered, so participants can have their photos taken, free, courtesy Bella Muse Photography at the start of the ride, and receive a printed copy at the end!
Show up in your finest tweed, mount your vintage bikes, and join your fellow lads and lassies for a fine Fall ride.
