Looking for a natural way to boost your mood and energy level?  Spending time in nature may be just what you need! 

Join us for Walk and Talk Wednesday’s and enjoy the benefits of being outside and meeting new people. Each event will feature a brief discussion of a different wellness topic, followed by a walk at your own pace.

This event is free and open to everyone, so bring your friends and family!  Registration is not required – – just show up! Parking is free and available in the second parking lot on the right.

This event occurs every Wednesday in May (May 4, 11, 18, and 25) from 10am-11am.

Participants must wear appropriate clothing and footwear for walking. Sunscreen, hats, sunglasses and bottled water are recommended. Fitness level must be appropriate for outdoor walking on easy trail as determined by each participant. It is recommended to consult with your primary care physician prior to engaging in any new activity.

COVID-19 UPDATE:

In light of the pandemic, we ask that attendees of Community Health & Outreach events please adhere to the following guidelines: 

1.) Participants will go through a brief health screening upon arrival. 

2.) Social distancing (6 feet apart) will be practiced at all times.  

3.) Face masks must be brought and worn by participants and staff at all times during the event, except while exercising or eating more than 6 feet apart.

All outdoor events are weather dependent. Event will be canceled due to rain and/or for a heat index rating of Danger or Extreme Danger.
