Small Space Gardening

Location: Morningside Urban Farm

Don’t be discouraged or put off by your small gardening space—make the most of what you’ve got! By using a few simple strategies you can enjoy the fruits of your labor and the satisfaction that comes from getting soil (not dirt!) under your fingernails. Join us to learn some simple techniques to create opportunities to grow different vegetables in small spaces from spring through fall. Class led by Roy Mentkow, Master Gardener.

Please park on the Morningside Urban Farm side of the street. This event is free and open to everyone. Children are welcome when accompanied by an adult.

COVID-19 UPDATE:

In light of the pandemic, we ask that attendees of Community Health and Outreach events please adhere to the following guidelines:
1) Participants will go through a brief health screening upon arrival.
2) Social distancing (6 feet apart) will be practiced at all times.
3) Face masks must be brought and worn by participants and staff at all times during the event, except while exercising and/or eating more than 6 feet apart.

All outdoor events are weather dependent. Event will be canceled due to rain and/or for a heat index rating of Danger or Extreme Danger. A Caution and/or Extreme Caution heat index is a warning to individuals with health related conditions.
