(18+,15+ with adult) The 57-mile scenic New River Trail runs between the southwest Virginia towns of Galax, and Pulaski. On this outing, we’ll bike from Foster Falls to Pulaski and back, for a total of 22.1 miles one way or 44.2 miles round trip. Along the way, we’ll cross the Hiawassee River Bridge and Big Reed Trestle, explore the historic Foster Falls area, and and stop for lunch at the Draper Mercantile. Leadership, parking fee, and bike support provided. Participants must provide their own bicycle, helmet and transportation to/from the trail.
