(Ages 8-11) Join Play Roanoke for a midweek outdoor adventure camp this winter and spring! We’ve got several fun outdoor activity filled days planned, when local schools are out of session. Each adventure camp date will meet at a different local park, with a unique schedule for that particular park. February 10 adventure camp participants will visit Fishburn Park and get familiar with the disc golf course, hiking trails, and Murray Run greenway, as well as complete two outdoor art projects and learn about geocaching. April 7 is based out of Mill Mountain Park, where adventure camp participants will learn survival and navigation skills, participate in some of the best hiking around, and try their hand at GPS capture the flag! Both adventure camps will also learn about environmental education and the new Play Roanoke Junior Ranger program along the way!

NOTE: These programs plan to be be entirely outside, so warm insulating layers and hats and gloves will be required. If the weather forecasted is below freezing all day, this program will be cancelled.
