(18+, 10+ with adult) Crabtree Falls is the tallest waterfall in Virginia and the cascading creek is a must see! The 4.4 mile out and back hike gains almost 1,900 feet of elevation as it winds up sets of stairs and steep trail near the falls to get to amazing views of the Tye River Valley. Program fee includes transportation and leadership.

Parent or guardian must be present on this trip for participants under age 18.

Bring plenty of water (2 liters), snacks, lunch, proper clothing and footwear (good shoes or hiking boots), a backpack to carry all of your items and trekking poles if you use them. Just a reminder that dogs are not allowed on any City of Roanoke hike.
