(18+, 10+ with adult). One of Virginia’s tallest waterfalls at 150 feet, Apple Orchard Falls is located on the Blue Ridge Parkway near Buchanan. The 7.5-mile loop trail boasts almost 1,700 feet of elevation gain, but don’t worry, the work is worth the amazing views! Program fee includes transportation and leadership.

Bring plenty of water (2 liters), snacks, lunch, proper clothing and footwear (good shoes or hiking boots), a backpack to carry all of your items and trekking poles if you use them. Just a reminder that dogs are not allowed on any City of Roanoke hike.
