Consignment for a Cause
Roanoke Mountain Adventures is helping you give back to the community with the donation of used gear to area nonprofits.
Through the new outdoor gear charitable program, when you sell items on consignment at RMA’s outdoor gear consignment shop, you can designate that some – or all – of the proceeds go to a participating charitable organization. (And we’re happy to say that the Roanoke Outside Foundation is one of those groups. Thank you, RMA!)
Participating organizations include:
- Roanoke Outside Foundation
- West End Center for Youth
- Apple Ridge Farm
- Pathfinders for Roanoke Valley Greenways
You don’t have to do anything extra for the donation. Just designate a recipient (and amount) when you drop off an item for consignment. RMA will send a check to the organization when your item sells and send you a contribution receipt.
If you haven’t visited the Roanoke Mountain Adventures outdoor gear consignment shop, now is the time. Do a little spring cleaning to get rid of gently used gear you don’t need anymore and while you’re there, shop for something new as well.
