3 Things You Need to Know for GO Fest

go fest 2019

The Anthem Roanoke GO Outside Festival is right around the corner, Oct. 18-20 at River’s Edge.

Start planning now and your weekend will be that much more enjoyable. There’s a lot to do in three days. (That’s why we suggest hanging out all weekend.) But we do have a few tips to get your weekend off on the right foot.

  1. Note that GO Fest has moved … slightly. The festival will be on the SOUTH side of River’s Edge this year. (It’s been on the north side in previous years.) But don’t worry, there’s actually a little more space over there and all your normal parking spaces will still be open. Plan to stretch your legs or hitch a ride on a pedicab.
  2. Hydro Flask is our official hydration partner. You’re probably familiar with their awesome water bottles and mission to rid the world of lukewarm water, but did you know they make hydration packs, coolers, storage contains, etc. They’ll have them all at their GO Fest booth. And thanks to Hydro Flask, the official GO Fest pint is a True Pint. Get yours for $15, with proceeds benefiting trail building and maintenance throughΒ Blue Ridge Off-Road Cyclists, improving access to the outdoors, as well as keeping GO Fest free. Pints are blue or white, first come, first serve at the festival. Don’t forget your water bottles; Hydro Flask is setting up hydration stations, serving up cold, purified water.
  3. Plan your weekend now, using your phone and roanokegofest.com/schedule/. Every demo, activity, race, and event is listed in the day-by-day schedule (click the tab for Friday, Saturday, or Sunday at the top). Star activities you want to see and do, and everything is saved to the Favorites tab. Refer to your personalized schedule and don’t miss a thing all weekend.
