There’s Still Time to Register for the Wilderness Road Ride

The forecast calls for a bike ride on Saturday. With a sunny outlook, it’ll be the perfect day to hop on your bike and take in a scenic adventure through the New River Valley.

The family-friendly bike ride includes four routes from 29 to 79 miles and follows part of Daniel Boone’s Wilderness Road. Rides finish as the Dedmon Center and Bisset Park in Radford and there will be plenty of aid stations along the way.

Registration is available online and on site the day of the ride. (The first 200 people will get a t-shirt.)

• When: Saturday, May 28 with rolling starts between 7 and 8:30 a.m.
