Poker Ride Features Downtown Stops and Giveaways

RIDE Solutions presents the 2017 Poker Ride featuring an evening of bikes, beer, and fun. The July 11 ride will feature stops at some of downtown Roanoke’s favorite watering holes. Riders will have a chance to win sweet prizes by collecting the best five-card poker hand.

Here’s how it works:

Hop on your bike and ride to each of the stops. Make sure to sample the food and beverage options as well. Grab one card at each stop. Save all five cards and present your hand at the final stop of the evening. The best hands to win tickets, gift certificates, outdoor gear, and more cool prizes from Walkabout Outfitter, RIDE Solutions, and more.

Here’s the itinerary:

Start at Roanoke Co+op: Registration/Tasting 4-6 p.m. (tastings at this stop are complementary, all others are on your own)
Wasena City Tap Room: 6:10-6:40 p.m.
Beamer’s 25: 6:50-7:20 p.m.
Fork in the Market: 7:30-8 p.m.
End at Martin’s Downtown: 8:10 p.m.-until

Tickets are $5 (suggested) and support RIDE Solutions and its efforts to make the region more bike friendly.
