Pete’s Pick: Take Mom Kayaking for Mother’s Day

Roanoke County Parks, Recreation and Tourism is offering a one-day trip on the James River that is designed for beginners. Participants will learn to paddle a sit-on-top kayak and get out on the water.

Everything you need for a fun day with the family, including all equipment and transportation is included. Just pack a lunch, bring water, and get ready to have a great day with your mom!
