Pete’s Pick: Tinker Creek Cleanup

Join Roanoke Stormwater, Deschutes Brewery, and Mountain State Overland for the second annual Tinker Creek Volunteer Cleanup on Saturday, Aug. 19. Come prepared to get dirty and possibly wet.
Clean up participants will receive lunch, beverages hosted by Deschutes Brewery and a few extra goodies from the event sponsors. Kick off meeting at 8 a.m. in Fallon Park where crew work maps, information, and supplies will be handed out.
Choose between land and canoe based clean up along Tinker Creek and the Roanoke River. There are different physical activity levels between sites so choose according to your physical ability.
