Pete’s Pick: There’s Still Time to Win FloydFest Tickets

If you are planning a trip to FloydFest in a few weeks, don’t forget your outdoor gear.

The music festival is more than just great tunes, food, and beverages. There’s camping, mountain biking, disc golf, geocaching, foot races, paddling on the river, hiking and more.

Here are a few things you should bring along:

  • Mountain bike and helmet
  • Disc golf discs
  • Running or hiking shoes
  • GPS device
  • Camera
  • Kids stuff
  • Camping gear
  • Rain gear

While you are making a list of things to do, don’t forget to enter our little giveaway. One person will win a pair of five-day passes to FloydFest 2017 on July 26-30. (The contest is open through June 25.)

And then make sure to start planning which stages you want to hit to see some great musical acts including Thievery Corporation, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Leftover Salmon, Marty Stuart & His Fabulous Superlatives, and Keller Williams. The music will start Thursday evening and go all weekend across nine stages.
