Pete’s Pick: Clear Your Calendar for DxDT

I know there’s a lot happening in your life right now, but I am asking you to do me a favor: Clear your calendars next weekend (April 20-22).

Then plan to head to downtown Roanoke each evening for some awesome live music as part of Ballast Point Down by Downtown.

There is live music at a number of venues each night. There will be tap takeovers featuring brews from Ballast Point (which will open in the region later this year).

Then we have two super nights of music at Elmwood Park. Friday, April 21 is a FREE concert from MC Broom & the Jam, which will be a fantastic set of Jerry Garcia inspired sounds.

Saturday features headliner Lotus with openers Hayley Jane & the Primates and Broccoli Samurai. This is a ticketed show. (You can get them online in advance or at the door.)
