Trail Description
This short greenway trail is a lovely getaway from the daily grind. The greenway is lined with beatiful flower gardens and many places to play, including swingsets, horseshoe pits, and various ball courts. Stop by for a picnic. The trail is often used by dogwalkers and local runners.
Directions to the Garst Mill Greenway:
Drive on Brambleton Road to the intersection of Brambleton and Valley Forge. Turn onto Halevan Road to the entrance of Garst Mill Park. Find the parking areas for Garst Mill Park on the left.
Notes/Add ons:
Hungry? Stop by for a bite at the Hungry Belly Deli, located in the Roanoke Natural Foods Co-op. When you exit the park, turn right to head back towards Grandin Road. Take a left and travel 3 miles to the lovely Grandin Court area. You will find the Roanoke Natural Foods Co-op at the end of the road. There are many other lovely eateries and retail stores to choose from.
