Growler Relay is Back with New Breweries and Route

The Roanoke Growler Relay is back! The 42.6-mile adventure includes a new route and two new brewery locations this year.

With stops at Soaring Ridge Craft Brewers and Big Lick Brewing Company , and a greenway running route, your team is bound to have a blast. Transition point games, an epic finisher party at Soaring Ridge, and commemorative growler are included for the Sept. 30 race. Reserve your team slot now and get $15 off (through Sunday, July 16).

The Growler Team Relay is put on by VA Momentum.

The Growler is social in nature. While one teammate runs, others will take fun photos, solve riddles and decipher clues to earn extra beer tickets. You choose how many friends you’d like on your team: minimum of two and maximum of eight. Each leg of the route varies in distance.

And this race benefits the Roanoke Outside Foundation, which will receive a portion of proceeds from the event. (Not only will you have a great time, but you are helping make our great outdoors even more awesome.)
