Ambassador Program
When we began building RoanokeOutside.com we asked the community for ideas and suggestions because we wanted to build a site that a site that truly reflects the region.
Among many brilliant ideas was the concept of an "ambassador" program. The idea is to allow visitors to connect with our outdoor community and ask questions such as, “What is a good day hike in Southwest Roanoke County?” – Ambassadors will answer these questions. Ambassadors can be anyone within the local outdoor community that wants to actively participate in online discussions.
Do you have what it takes to be a Roanoke Outside Ambassador?
Here's how:
- Become of registered user of the Roanoke Outside Forum

After registered, access the "Got A Question - Ask An Ambassador" page and click on the "Subscribe Forum" link toward the bottom of the page (it is hard to see and just text).
- You must "subscribe forum" to each sub category that interests you (ex. hiking, fishing, mountain biking, etc.)
- You will now receive an email anytime someone posts a question
