Floyd Fandango Is Coming and You Can Win Tickets

Beer, food, music, and plenty of outdoor adventure await at Floyd Fandango Showdown Throwdown on June 25. The festival is packed with beer, cider, and wine tastings, the festival features a solid sampling of patron-picked live music, a farm-to-table meal, free camping, and outdoor competitions, such as the Mountain X Cross Bike Race, disc golf tournament and Rundango 5K trail race.

There will be plenty of outdoor adventure that you can participate in:

• Mountain X Cross Bike Race: The unique track features log-jumps, a ride up, across, and down FloydFest’s Dreaming Creek Main Stage and finishes with a hill and beer. (There will be six demo bikes on hand from Starlight Bicycles as well.)
• Disco Golf Tournament: Through gorgeous woods that border National Park land and where you’ll find FloydFest camping in late July. The site features an 18-hole professional disc golf course, created with Innova Discs.
• Rundango 5K Trail Race: The Rundango 5K Trail Run is on site, through the gorgeous woods that border National Park land.
• Camping: You can spend the night in the “premium woodsy” atmosphere.

Floyd Fandango gates will open at 11 a.m. on June 25 on the FloydFest site at MP 170.5 on the Blue Ridge Parkway. General admission is $15 in advance and $20 at the gate. (Some events have additional charges.)
