Are you ready for the party of the summer? The Deschutes Street Pub is rolling into Roanoke on Aug. 27.

Elmwood Park and Jefferson Street will be the place to be.

The Street Pub is a giant, family-friendly one-stop shop for beer tastings. Deschutes Brewery will have more than 50 taps with plenty of brews to taste, including favorites and special taps. They’ll also pair these beers up with culinary creations from Deschutes Executive Chef, Jeff Usinowicz and local chefs Aaron Deal of River and Rail and Jeff Farmer of Fortunato.

There will be plenty of other craft brews on location as well. Guest taps include beer from Parkway Brewing Co., Chaos Mountain Brewing, Big Lick Brewing Co., Flying Mouse Brewery, and Soaring Ridge Craft Brewers.

And here’s the best part: 100 percent of the beer proceeds benefit Roanoke Outside, Blue Ridge Land Conservancy, and Feeding America Southwest Virginia, as well as, Pathfinders for Greenways, Roanoke IMBA, Clean Valley Council, LEAP for Local Food, Family Promise of Greater Roanoke, and Bradley Free Clinic of Roanoke Valley! Plus, more than 20 other nonprofits will be on site to raise awareness for their cause and rally volunteers to help their missions for the community.
