Wednesday Night Disco Race Series
Are you ready to ride? Well here’s a great start. Come out and join us for the Wednesday Night Disco this April and May. A series of Wednesday night mountain bike races that will make you want to dance on your pedals in preparation for the race season.

Roanoke Parks and Recreation is cooking up a great series that will get your fro in a tizzy. This gig isn’t one that will replace polyester with spandex, rather an event for anyone that wants to compete in an off-road mountain bike race.
The location of the event will be at the Discovery Center (AKA The Disco Center) atop Mill Mountain (located at the parking lot for the Mill Mountain Zoo). The fun will begin and finish there - this means the course will be fun, fun, fun all the way down and work all the way back. Beginner racers will only see this course for one loop while the weekend warriors will see it twice and the Elites will do it three times.
Not sure if your ready for such an event? Well, this is made to meet the needs of the most novice rider to providing a local weeknight training ground for the fittest mountain biker. This series will offer a class for those Clydesdales with two circuits. And for you crazy folks that only like single speed bikes - you’ll have the pleasure to race for a full three laps! (what a deal, save on gears and get more laps!)
