What happens with your donation? The Roanoke Outside Foundation supported all of these projects in 2016.

• Built a kayak launch on the Roanoke River
• Grew the Blue Ridge Marathon, Radical Reels Film Festival, and GO Outside Festival
• Brought professional bicycle racing back via Virginia’s Blue Ridge Downtown Twilight Criterium
• Helped get Roanoke named Top Adventure Town … again
• Created Trail Drinks, a quarterly gathering of the outdoor community
• Kept RoanokeOutside.com up and running (and packed with information)
• Shared proceeds from our events with other nonprofits that help develop our outdoor culture and infrastructure
• Consulted with outdoor entrepreneurs, businesses, and parks and recreation departments
• Assisting with implementation of Explore Park’s master plan
• Advocating for more outdoor amenities across the region
