Celebrate Earth Day

Say thanks to Mother Earth at the annual Roanoke Earth Day Festival.

The event is Saturday, April 21, in Grandin Village, and is on the same weekend as national Earth Day on April 22.

Admission to the festival is free and includes educational activities for kids, live music, and food. Displays include electric vehicles, bike exhibits, composting, renewable energy, recycling, community gardens, and more.

The festival starts at 9 a.m. and runs through 2 p.m.
