Trail Work (new Rock N Roll trail) at Carvins Cove

Event image Time: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Location: Carvins Cove - Bennett Springs Parking Lot For the month of August the weekend crew will be working on a new trail called Rock-N-Roll which is a 2 mile 'flow' trail between Arrowhead and Schoolhouse. We have gotten a good start on it in July and have started getting into the rock. So far it is working out great and should provide some interesting features.

We plan on working every Saturday in August. We start at 9am. Meet in the Bennett Springs Parking Lot at Carvins Cove. I would like to know if you think you can help out, because I need to have at least a few people I know are going to show up, or I have to cancel the work day. You are welcome to bike in and out during the work day and work for however long you want.

Just email me at volunteers@greenways.org if you think you will be showing up for any of the work days on the calendar.

Check the calendar at www.greenways.org/calendar before heading out to make sure we have not had to cancel the work day due to weather or other reasons. Sometimes even if it seems nice out, we have to cancel as the trails may be too muddy of some other event might come up.

Thanks,
Brian Batteiger
